Oh, and starring Leah Purcell as Molly. The Henry Lawson classic. Starbox rating: 4.5 (out of 5 stars). A thought provoking beginning to the year.

HOBSONS BAY HERITAGE ON SCREEN 'A TASTE' - Wednesday 19th April, 7-9pm - Pirates Tavern

WFS in conjunction with Seaworks & Pirates Tavern are presenting a free program of two films which tap directly, and very differently, into the Heritage of Hobsons Bay. The first features the Point Gellibrand Pile Light and the other explores the game of Trugo. Screenings will take place in Pirates Tavern and prior to that, Seaworks Maritime Museum will be open from 6pm. Tickets are FREE but you must book a ticket through EVENTBRITE. We had a terrific turnout (37) for our 2022 AGM on Wednesday 26th October at 7:30. The Minutes will be uploaded here in due course and this year's documents will remain until the end of the year. At this year's AGM Pat Duncan and Andrew Rozwadowski were made Life Members and along with fellow Life Members, Dorothy Page and Jack Neill, Pat and Andrew were presented with Life Membership pins. John Turner (deceased), the first member of WFS to receive Life Membership, was also acknowledged in the presentation. Congratulations and thank you.
